advanced editing

i was looking into learning more advanced editing techniques. does any one know of any websites,books, tutorials, styles, ect. that i might wanna check out?

what would u call advanced? the stuff that u cant think of on your own..lol..

editing in my opinion is like wirting, if u have writers block..or editors block..you need to overcome it. Another thing is, watch lot of tv and get ideas and put your spin on em.

Editing in my opinion is an art u learn the more u do it... there is no right and wrong way, only what in your mind looks great and or what the client wants

I have it and it's quite comprehensive in its coverage of Premiere Pro 2.0. There's a bunch of practice projects already in place so you can follow along with the video tutorial.

As far as editing goes, most of it is somewhat basic and the biggest challenge is creativity. Where it starts getting more technical is in compositing and stuff like that. Thats where youll have to under-go more serious training.
