Adrenaline

OK, I was driving back from a audio studio after doing a regional Hyundai TV voiceover, when a Chrysler 300 went speeding by and then hit a small Toyota so hard it rolled in the air 3 times before hitting a 3 series BMW. Myself and another gentleman pulled over to give aid, and were able to cut the seatbelt restraints and pull the driver to safety before attending to the other 3 injured people. After attending to the others, I looked over and realized the woman I had pulled from the overturned car was my neighbor from 2 blocks away. All is well, except for the damn adrenaline rush I got while trying to get her door open & pull her from the car. What an F-N rush! My body was like, HULK SMASH! But now I feel like a wet noodle drained of all my power. What a downer.

i feel the exact same way any time i eat a large pepperoni pizza and a bottle of mountain dew. except afterwards it's a struggle to put the seat belt on instead of taking it off.

i toast you for your heroism today.
