ADR Tips for this sample

Hey there.

I set up a "endless white room" in a school classroom. The audio was recorded with a sennheiser ew 100 g2 wireless. The room despite my efforts does have a slight echo. Turns out the result is a bit hollow in the original and then noise like passing busses, that I did not notice, and an occasional crackling sound the reason for which I'm completely ignorant of...so original track not very useable... This was a one man project and I had no one to monitor the sound...I know...bad idea.

Anyway. I decided to do a voice over and dubb myself. I use a Rode NT1-A for the job and an edirol FA-66 to get the sound into Premiere CS3 (on a Pc). As it is - it is too clean and seems to artificial.

Being no sound expert, but following some advice here on this forum, I played around with the equalizer (cutting down at 157 Hz) and the reverb plugin setting pre-delay to 13ms, absorption to 13%, size to 12%, Density to 86%, low damp to -12.15db, Hi Damp to -0.22db and mix at 31%. My ears are too full of this, so that I begin to loose the capacity to hear what setting is better and for lack of knowledge on what to do, I'm sort of stuck.

Here is a sample upload. The voice over starts about 40 secs in and has the aforementioned settings.

What do you think of the result? Acceptable?, Bearable?, barely bearable? I don't knwo what to think anymore...
I would be really grateful for tips to make this better. I'm giving the DVDs (5000 copies pre-ordered already) away practically free (a 1.5 dollars each) but still it should be as good as possible.

Didn't have a chance to listen to it, but one option is to record the ADR with the G2 in a comperable room, just as it was set up for shooting, then it's more likely to match.
