I need to export a Blu-ray version of my movie. From Adobe Media Encoder I chose the H.264 codec because I think it gives me the best quality with the smallest files sizes. My 80 min film is about 8gb's at final export and looks great.
However I can't view the .m4v file with anything on my computer and as far as I can tell this is NOT a blu-ray file. Can anyone walk me through this?
While I'm at it I'm having other problems as well. I'm trying to output to an MPEG2 so I can burn to dvd but the exported file is about 10gb and looks really pixelated, and noisy. Can I get a higher quality looking video? But won't that make the file larger? What are my options?
I need to export both a dvd file and a Blu-ray file so I can burn dvd's and blu-rays. I'm also planning on putting some extra content on the disk so I'd like enough room to add a 5 min short and a 45 min behind the scenes feature.
PLEASE HELP. Can you let me know your steps to do this with the best quality and the smallest file sizes? How is this done professionally???
Thanks. Z
