Adobe Encore Menu Transitions

Hey, I recently bought Adobe Encore and am just now teaching myself how to use it.

I'm curious... how would I go about making a transition from menu to menu?

I already made the menu transition project in after effects... but how do I plug it into encore to make it recognize as a transition? What file format would I export as? Mpeg 2?

A transition from one menu to another menu would be a .m2v or MPEG2 elemental stream. Just be certain that the frame size and rate match your Encore project.

I just tried that, and it seems as though the blacks lose contrast when I try to link a button to a transition, is there any work-around for that?

Shouldn't be a problem. Is there a sub picture layer that is causing the loss of contrast? Can you grab a frame and post it?
