Adobe CS5.5 Adobe media encoder H.264 for the web/ bluray settings

[africanmarty]

hi guys i am just wondering what your Adobe CS5.5 Adobe media encoder settings are for H.264 Web & bluray.

It just seems to me the bitrate settings on high setting are too high or evan to low. for example with bluray 1080p target bitrate on 30mb with a max of 40mb and with 720p the target is 6mb max of 9mb....

i wish there was a good x264 encoder plugin for cs5.5

you can increase or decrease the bitrate by clicking on preset, then scroll down to near the end and theres a option to adjust bitrate.

thanks for the quick reply guys. i understand you can adjust the bitrate within premier, but to me the mainconcept h.264 codec does not compress as well as x264 does. i finally got cs5.5 to frame serve to xvid4psp to which i have x264 presets i use often. happy days.
