Adobe CS3 question

Hi guys, got a kind of retarded question but want to check in on this.

My gf and I are looking at buying CS3 this month, the best we can afford which comes with Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash & Dreamweaver. She uses Photoshop & Illustrator, while I use Flash & Dreamweaver. Can we split this install, so she takes the programs she uses and I take the programs I use, if we only have one license? It would save us a ton of money and I could just use photoshop on her computer until we can afford to buy a stand-alone version just for me (or a second suite).

Not sure what the license does & doesn't allow as far as different programs within the suite.

I have the Master Collection and it is one master serial for all of the programs, which then requires activation. My guess is that this wouldn't "just work" correctly out of the box, although what you want to do seems very reasonable.

This is probably a question for adobe, I believe they have a number you could call about this. Let us know what they say.

Yeah, it's pretty irritating that you can't split up the activations, but it makes a certain amount of sense (just a little) if you think of the CS3 package as one single product.

Fortunately, you get two activations with each license (because so many people use their Adobe software on a desktop at home and a laptop on the go), so you should actually be okay if all you want is for you and your gf to each have one activation.
