I have a Dell laptop running Vista with Core2duo and lacie external HD. I tried to save a project to the lacie and got a message saying I had to get permission from the "Administrato" and so I ended up saving it to the internal disk. How do I go about getting permission from the administrator?

Do you have any other profiles belonging to other users on your computer?
I had the same problem. Turns out that my sister had created a seperate profile and for some reason she had administrative privileges.
So now, she has to be logged in under her name if I want to, say, burn a DVD.
