Adjusting the White Balance?

Is it possible to adjust/change the white balance of video shot at 1080 with the HVX-200 in Final Cut Pro? Just curious if there is a way to do this similar to what can be done with RAW images in Photoshop.

Thanks.

If it can be done "easily," is it not so important if you change your mind later or do not even do it during the shoot? OR is it not as effective when doing it in FCP? Just curious.

Thanks.

Yes, it's very easy to do it. Grab the color correcter three-way, grab your white dropper, click on white in the screen. White balance changed.

With that said, when you get into the extremes, it can look a bit unnatural in my opinion. It save's you the time to get it right in camera.

Sure a lot of stuff can be fixed in post but with things like focus, exposure, audio quality and white balance you are much better off nailing those in production. Then in post you are just enhancing what's already there rather than fixing bad mistakes which add noise and other unintentional artifacts.
