additive dissolves not rendering

Im having trouble with my additive dissolve transitions not rendering completely as they appear when i view my sequence in final cut. is this a problem with my rendering settings? Any help is appreciated.

Not sure if this is the problem but make sure under Sequence menu that the render setting has "full" checked.
