Adding Snapshots into a film

I have some digital photos that i want to add into a live action film. I am hoping to cut to a still shot for about 2 seconds, add a little snapshot camera shutter sound and then cut back to live action.

I'm curious how to get the shots framed correctly so that it fits the aspect ratio of the film and wont cause any weird jumping when played.

Shot on 24p and editing on FCexpress.
