Adding pulldown to 23.98 sequence for broadcasting?

Question:

I shot and edited a spot in 24p (23.98) that will be broadcast at 29.97. How do I add the pulldown on export to end up with 29.97 as per the thread snippet below?

The best way to go about it is to shoot 24pA, edit at 23.98, and then add the pull-down back in when you output to tape or to QT. That way, it's back to the 29.97 that the station will need and the pull-down cadence will be consistent from start to finish.

What do you need to deliver to the network? Tape or a QT file? What format...EXACTLY...of either?
