Adding Plugins

How do you add plugins to FCP? I currently have them saved to a folder on my computer but need to figure how to access them once in FCP.

Library/Support/Final Cut Pro system support/plugins/

They have to go into the FCP plug-ins folder. You can't just put them anywhere you want. The path is-
~/Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro System Support/Plugins

If you put them anywhere else, they won't load up when you launch FCP. Once done, they should all show in your regular Bins in your Effects tab in the Browser window.

yea I tried that Ben but it won't let me move my plugins into that folder. It keeps saying the plugins cannot be moved to that folder because they cannot be modified. It does give me an option to authenticate though.

Yeah, it's supposed to do that cause it's a system folder. You just authenticate, and it does it. Very simple.
