How do I add plug-ins to my Effects tab? I got some that came with a book I bought that has tutorials. I have the plug ins saved on my HD but not sure how to get them into FCP.

nobody knows how to add plug-ins? I put them in Library/Application Support/Final Cut Pro system support/plug-ins and they still won't show up in Final Cut Pro.

Shoudl be fine there. You need to restart FCP after moving them there.
Make sure these are compatible with FCP.

Yea I figured it out. Apparently there was a bug with the plug-ins on the disc that came with the book. I was led to www.fcpworld.com to get the updated plug-ins and load them the same way. I now see them listed in FCP in my Video Filters folder.
