Adding HDD controller -help?

When I built this rig I had no idea I'd be bitten by the DVX bug. I put in 2 WD 80Gb HDDs, DVD-ROM and CDRW. I have since added an LG DVD-RW/DVD-RAM (external firewire).
I bought a WD2500 and a Promise 2channel IDE controller but I do not have a stinking floppy drive to install drivers and BIOS updates for this controller. .... and, finally, the Question;

Is there any other way to install these drivers? I've had no luck creating a bootable CD - yet. I'm not good with drives and don't even know if that's a workable idea.
Running XP Pro SP2.
I did email Promise support and its been at least 15 minutes with no reply ;)

Thanks.

Re: Adding HDD controller -help?

Soliton, didn't your controller card come with a cd-rom? I think just about everything you buy should come with a cd-rom. Why can't you go on the internet and find the drivers and get one of those USB 128ram things and put the drivers in that. I haven't used my floppy dirve in years. Try investing in one of those USB things. Hope any of this helps.

Bluespider,
It only came with the floppy. The card has a BIOS of its own and needs to boot this way, unless there is an alternate.
Actually I do have a USB drive (Lexar Jumpdrive 128mb). But since I don't have a floppy my mainboard BIOS hasn't been updated either. A newer BIOS might let me boot from this device(don't know) but I'd have get a floppy installed to update the mainboard anyway.
Thanks!
