I bought another Dvxuser's DV Rig used. It can be seen here:

I'm trying to mount my DVX100b with a chrosziel mattebox on it. My tripod is a sachtler video 14 II. The matte box is on rails and the adapter accepts 3/8"-16 thread but not 1/4-20 (which the DV rig plate uses).
Trying to do one of two things.
1). Get a 3/8"-16 screw on the DV Rig's manfrotto plate (would have to drill out the plate to accept the screw) so I can use the matte-box on the DV Rig (take the sachtler plate off, put the manfrotto plate on the chrosziel adapter whenever I switch between DV Rig and sticks) or ultimately...
2). see if there is a sachtler solution with the same plate as the video 14 II (can't find) so I don't have to switch plates every time I want to go from tripod to DV Rig.
Any one have any ideas?
