Adapter on any camera?

Will adapters fit on any camcorder? What I mean by "any" is i have a Panasonic PV GS30 which is pretty basic. But the main question is will a 35 mm adapter change the way a low budget camera's picture looks? Or am i just buying myself an expensive paper weight here?

Adapters will work with small cameras.
There are some limitations but there are many people using adapters with the cannon hv20.

Yeah, you can pretty much use 'em on most cameras.

Brevis is used a lot on smaller cameras, and is pretty adaptable to different cameras, etc.

Letus just released a Letus Mini for use with smaller cameras.

Don't know much more than that.... basically you would need step rings to match the threads of the adapter to the camera, and possibly spacers as well, and you can probably use any of the adapters on smaller cameras.

To answer your main question, yes 35mm adapter will definitely change the way your picture looks. Not only will it give you the ability to use a variety of lenses but it will allow you to achieve a much more shallow depth of field when you need to isolate your subjects from the foreground/background.

There's lots of example footage and stills posted here and on the web. Take a look at Cinevate and Letus websites for other examples...

well so then how much would all this cost to seriously change the pictuere?

And if it not that much wqhy buy a small HD camera when you could just by a small camera (thts still ok) and do this?

Don't you need macro ability and manual focus ability though to use an adapter? Not all small cheapo camcorders have both.
