I am looking to cast an actor with disabilities, can anyone point me to some casting agencies or other resources? I am in L.A. and surprised at how hard it has been to find someone.
I know you're probably past this by now but for future reference... If it's a SAG (or even AFTRA) film, you can contact the union. They have a "performers with disabilities" unit and should be able to point you in the right direction. Even if it's non-union, I'd call and see if they can give you the numbers of theater groups or acting classes geared toward the disabled, and then go from there.
