It's really difficult to truly convey ones intentions with just text on a screen, without sticking a  or  or  or :embarasse or  or :cheesy: or  or  or :lipsrseal or whatever in there, which I generally dont do. But they do serve a purpose beyond forum cheese, it would appear!

BTW, while we're on Scientology, several years ago I was given a couple of their books and read em....fun stuff. In the back cover it had a phone number, so I started calling them and discussing their theories at length...it was shocking how much of it actually touched on good sense, but then they would always carry you to that border, that if crossed, one would definely find themselves in loony land.

It got kinna crazy there for a while, and they were trying to get me to take a job at their Las Angeles center. The dude I had been talkin to (cant remember his name, but it sure wasnt Cecil) sounded exactly like CC Devile from Poison. This was during the time that he wasnt in Poison and was supposed to be way overweight and working as a waiter. And this Scientology guy mentioned a couple of times that he was Italian and that his native food had made him overweight. I was about to bust to see if it was really CC using a fake name on the phone....oh, I remember, his name was Pat.

Anyway, I really enjoyed the sport of all the debating with Pat, and apparently the orginazation had no problem with him going on with me for a couple of hours every few days...(hey, I was on the clock too, and had to fill my workday with something).

One time, I got on a ferry boat off the coast of WA state and there were around 20 or so Tibetan monks on board. I was on San Juan Island for the sole purpose of seeing if I could telepathically communicate with the Orca Whales, and when I asked them if they thought that was possible, they said "nope". I was shocked that students of what seems to be one of the most open minded cultures of consciousness would draw a limit at such a thing.

While on the island, I also visited a guy who writes books on interspecies communication (one by that very name) and has chapters about how a Beluga whale (I think it was) once entered his conciousness and had a look around. So I asked him if he had ever talked to a Blue Whale, and he said "Nope, you might as well try to talk to a tree because their metabolism is so slow"...I said "thats pretty interesting, have you ever tried talking to a tree ( I was having this conversation with him while he was working in his botanical garden)" and he said that was rediculous. So I told him about my "conversations" with oaktrees and a couple of other cross species interactions I had attempted (thinking that a guy who writes books on these subjects would have a genuine interest in furthering his knowledge) and he boots me off his property!!!! I mean.....hey, Jim Nollman, you wrote several books on this stuff....why am I the crazy one here!

Wow, Daniel, that is one heck of a post to get through at 02:48 AM EDT... You got those pepsids kicking!!!

Too funny.

Yeah, I dont go to sleep till about 6am and I dont have anything to edit right now till this Quincienerra (sp) comes up. So, I've still got the schedule with nothing pressing to do. I suppose I could wash the dishes, and I've been trying to get an OS to load on the old ass Compaq all night for a lady cause I need the money she'll pay me if I can, but it aint happenin...the damn boot thingy wont work. Every time I get the partitions created and formatted and Windows copies all the setup files, when the computer reboots it boots right back to the initial setup and wont finish the installation.

I called their sorry excuse for a tech support a coupla hours ago and they wanted to charge me to help with an "out of warrenty" machine, but I told em that all I had was a couple of simple questions about their "restoration" discs (which does nothing at all, just says "Compaq Quick Restore" for an hour) and if they could please find someone who has nothing better to do at this hour then surely they could help me with no real skin off their teeth, and when I got a "technician" on the line, he made me repeat the serial number 10 times (no exageration) and wanted my name, address, phone number and email......I told them they didnt need to "create a profile" because I'm just trying to fix some lady's machine and will not need their services any further. He then asks "How would you like HP to contact you in the future.....I said I would not like that at all, and he said he understood and then asked for my phone number again. I gave them the number I had years ago and he put me on hold for several minutes while he "accessed my profile" and then he came back all suspicious and asked if I was calling from that number now. So I asked if he had just tried to call that number to see if I was shitting him or something and he wouldnt answer and asked for my real number. I told him again that there was no need, told him what my problem was and asked if he could help or not, and he said he would first need to create a profile to help me. I told him he either knew the answer or did not.....if he did, please tell me, if not then send me to someone who does. Evidentally, nobody there knows how their old restoration disks work, whether or not they require a pre-existing partition or not, and how to get into the BIOS (none of the F's worked, nor Delete, nor Escape), all they wanted was my profile. Very, very cult like....it was quite reminesent of the Katie Holmes interview......just swap "exited" for "profile".

Check this out:

I just stuck my old Gateway ME disc in there and ran FDISK on it, and when I typed "setup" it said "this CD is only for use on a Gateway computer".....so, I then typed in "setup anyway" and it still did the same thing, instead of giving a "command error"!

Yeah...its gone. They are programmed to look for reasons not to help. First, they asked what OS it was, and I said 98, and they said they cannot support XP because it didnt come with the machine.....hello, I said 98! How bout the fact that this POS was made by them and the discs I'm using came with it, please just answer a coupla questions on it's use...is that really too much to ask? Why, I wonder, do we as a people allow all this corporate crap to go on....we have the numbers for a good ol fashioned uprising, yet we just roll over and let em run rampant until they've completely taken over.

Yeah David I'm with you.

I can care less what an actors beliefs or opinions are. Can ya' act? Cool. You can balh on you wan't about therapy and religion and politics I don;t care; ironically I feel the same about most everyone who babbles about that shite. TC (Tom TC, not you) isn;t going to sway me into religion any more than Phil the Tax Guy is.

Great Daniel, "good old fashion uprising".... that has got to get a keyword hit... cut out the lights and don't answer the door!!! :lipsrseal

...We all go down together!!!

Oh, I'm quite sure I've triggered Echelon a time or two! Check this: We didn't go to the moon...it was all just a hoax! I'm onto ALL their crap!

Truth is, if they tagged me for observation they would discover an individual far too lazy to rise up from this chair, much less the govt.

Remember that the first draft of the Warren Report said that JFK was killed by a drunk driver!

(Ok, I stole that from Wag the Dog).

Dang, Barry G, I was just reading around tomcruiseisnuts.com and thinking "this guy really is nuts" until I got to Tom On Psychiatry and I was like "this guy knows whats up.....on this one single subject!" !!!

BLUESPIDER, just read about the doctor there, and gotta say I definately believe AIDS was invented by man, but I'm not sure about a lot of the peripherel "facts" with regard to his specific theories. Very interesting read...thanks for posting that.
