So today I bit the bullet and got a new cell phone. My other cell phone was one month old before it died. It died from some new form of electronic pnuemonia. I sent it in to be repaired but to no avail...The tests came back "Liquid Damage!"

I went smimming in the pool one day, took the phone out of my pocket before doing the big cannonball splash crowd pleaser, doggy paddled for a while before laying lazilly in the sun for forty five minutes. After forty five minutes in the sun I'm mostly dry...One would think! I grab my few meager pocket possesions, keys, coins, smokes, lighter and cell phone, place them in my ALMOST DRY pockets and head up three flights of stairs to my place where I imediately get changed. Pulling the phone from my pocket, I notice some water vapor inside the viewscreen glass, so I turn the phone off and place it on top of my warmest monitor to help remove the vapor. This was not to protect the phone, I just ccould'nt see the readout to well. The phone never came back to life...Dead, and off to join the great resistor in the sky. So nobody will fix the damned thing and I only paid $1.39 for it after rebates and blah....So I write it off. Today I went shopping for a new one. After telling my sad tale to a local cel dealer, he offered me a good deal on a great phone. But wait says I, that's a good price, What about all the activation fees and switchyondafone taxes and all that other hidden stuff. He tells me he feels sorry for me and my dilema and will not apply those charges. I watch as he pulls the new phone from its box, insert the SIM and Bingo Bango, I'm back In business. But then!!! I got to thinking, what the hell kinda bullshit cash goughing crap is this $35.00 activation fee anyway! and why have I paid it with every other new phone I've purchased. They don't activate dick...Stick the ****in SIM card in and go. That sort of thing really pisses me off. It's like ordering a steak in your favorite restaurant and being forced to pay a $35.00 deactivation fee on the COW!!!

Geeez

While your on the rampage of getting good deals...my pre paid minutes are running low....wana get me a fone?

...your next reason could be it fell into a lake of lava..err suttin..

Greets again, Mino.

Having worked for almost two years in the upper levels of Cingular Technical Support, I can assure you that you are 100% correct, the activation fee is as bogus as supermarket discount cards. It's (usually) a fully automatic process requiring nothing more than a computer sending out a little download to the sim.

But if you think thats a conspiracy, you should know more about what's really going on. Cell phones are nothing more than a front business, much like any common mafioso venture. The real meat and potatos is their employee soul sucking technology which they not only use within their own facilaties, but also sell out to other corporations.

I used to wonder why it was that we had a full team of on site in house IT personell, yet almost none of our computers worked well. After a little digging and finally sneaking a brief peak into the always locked IT room, I discovered that almost all of their resources were devoted to working on and perfecting the soul sucking technology. This also expains why they couldnt give less **** about giving decent customer service...what do they care, it's only a front business anyway!

The soul sucking device is far too complex to discuss by this lazy typer, but to touch on just a couple of very simple surface things (and not even about to get into the deeper, frequency based tech of actually destroying your soul slowly over time) it is the soul sucking device that creates the monthly schedules, crunches the numbers on just how much of a salary is enough to keep you barely afloat but not enough to get ahead in any way....its all meant to keep you in a state of complete dependence, and therefore obedience. Think I'm kiddin? I wish.........I wish.

Daniel, for your sake, I really hope that "soul sucking technology" is not a keyword hit for the message monitoring software being used by "THE MAN" otherwise, you are in big trouble...

... oh ****! now you got me on the list...

PRANK POST, PRANK POST... I don't know you!!!

David, if this were all a joke then your reply would have been the irreducabliest kernal of funny possible!

But for the truth, the soul sucking device (being able to read souls and all) fully knows who knows, but the evil ones behind all this know that everyone will believe it to be the stories of a nutjob and never really believe it, so they have no fear. They are very much like the Empiror from Star Wars, full of confidence in their schemes. I am sure, though, that I'm on some list of those to be taken in the night if "they" ever percieved a valid threat. Not to mention, before I quit I tried to educate everyone in the building about it....guess what, they just laughed, thought it was funny, and went back to work......too late for them. Still to this day (one year later Nov4) I have to go through extreme mental and physical excercises to keep my aura strong enough to fight the frequencies.

It's really no different from how the govt gets away with things....knowing that the masses will "buy" their line and anyone who tries to expose it is just a crackpot.

Sounds like Daniel is working out his script for the sci-fi fest! :)

That's why I don't watch TV, or pay much attention to the news, because I don't want my....Soul sucked! I've known for years that we are nothing more than pawns in a mad game of chess...That's why the "Matrix" really hit home for me. I'm becomming a conspirigy theorist against my will! I go to places like the Black Vault and read for hours. How many more $35.00 activation scams are there? Wait...I don't want to know! I'm mad as HELL....And I'm NOT going to TAKE IT ANYMORE!

You know David, there is another option.........how bout the fact that I have never consented to taking ANY medication! I do not buy that crap about "It's a chemical imbalance"......I say that the chemical imbalance is caused by the persons behavior to begin with. For instance, lets say you've got a cleptomaniac.....some would say that it's a chemical imbalance that makes a persons brain tell them they've gotta steal some ****. You know, pepsid protean stimulations and ****. But I say that stealing produces those pepsids and when the synapses keep creating those connection the brain later becomes hardwired for stealing and if they dont steal for a while they will go through widthdrawels while their synapses create non-stealing connections....so really, the doctors are just giving them no steal "methodone".

Or, how bout the depressed....."oh, it's a chemical imbalance"......BS, I say. They are depressed because they've gotten themselves into a jam, and it has stimulated some "whoa is me" pepsids as a result. They now have two options, take some pills that will send the feelgood pepsids while changing nothing in their lives, or rolling up their pants and wading into some extreme synaptic connecor readjustments via changes in personal paterns and expanding their view of themselves and their relation to The Universe.

Ok, I had no idea who Matt was, but a quick Google search led me to a wikipedia article that mentioned:

"In a June 2005 interview with Matt Lauer, Tom Cruise got into an argument with Lauer about psychiatry and called Lauer "glib." That same month, he hosted The Greatest American on the Discovery Channel, which used Internet and phone voting by viewers to select the winner. Lauer was rather critical of his own program, since it tended to favor well-known figures over others who had less influence in pop culture."

And I'm all for the whole critique relating to TV giving way too much airtime to "well known figures" v/s "others who have less influence in pop culture"

But Tom Cruise is nuts, pepsid proteans and their relation to synaptic connections and cells and their effects on emotion and behavior is pure science.......and the soul sucking device is all too real.....I assure you.

BTW,

Daniel, I was making a joke. I appologize If I offended or insulted you. That was not my intention. It is obvious that you have interesting views on a variety of subjects, which I respect, but chose not to debate. Again, I am sad that you did not see my attempt at light hearted humor and appologize if you were offended or insulted.

Oh, David, I did not intend at all to portray being offended. I loved your posts, I'm just talkin ****. When I said that your post was the ireducable kernal of funny, that meant that it was the funniest possible response to what I had said that I could imagine!

And the medicine stuff was real, but just making convo, it wasnt intended to be a response to negative feelings from your comment, just enjoying some tagential rambling from the stimulous! Of your comment, I mean...

I have to admit; this whole Tom Cruise thing. I don't get it. What's the fascination? People just wan't to see this guy go down and fail or suffer or be embarrased. What is it?
