Shot when I was in NYC, for 2 weeks.
The result is kind of an impressionist melting pot, half documentary / half music video.
I strongly suggest to look in HD through Vimeo

Shot with hacked GH1 (90%) and a few shots from Canon HF100.
 
Your description is spot on. Really enjoyed it, and I too especially liked the subway part at the end.
 
It's unclear... But I heard a few american people acting drama like this in the street, sometime on the phone ("OH MY GOD - NO LISTEN TO ME ! - SCREW YOU !"). Strange when you're from Paris :)
