I need to acknowledge again those people who responded to my earlier posting re: camera set up for mixing footage of TRV 900 and DVX 100a. Thank you very much. You guys are a big help. The footage of the live concert from both cameras are awesome. I received positive feedback from earlier showing of raw footage. Except, and here is the problem, for the audio recording. The sound engineer forgot to bring a blank DAT and recorded the event in cassette. I like the pin point separation due to mic mix from the sound board. But, it is not as clean and dynamic as PCM. Is there a way I can remix the analog tape to improve the quality of sound. I have transfered it to PCM via tape player to TRV 900. Aside from being in digital format, the sound is still limited by the original recording. Is ACID 4.0 capable of the task of remixing and salvaging this audio? Any tips or suggestions are welcome. This is the weakest link of the project for DVD distribution.
