Achromatic Diopter

I shoot all 4:3 right now.

someday if I want to get an anamorphic adapter how does that work with the achro lens? or not? What about a fish-eye lens, etc?

In other words. Let us say I am doing a shoot primarily in 16:9. Then I put on the achro lens. Isn't the picture then, only 4:3? And how do work with that in edit? I hope I'm making sense.

Re: Achromatic Diopter

I don't think the achromatic diopter will work (I'm not positive on that.) But I know for a fact that the fish eye won't work. You'll have to put on the lens, and then shoot in squeeze.

Re: Achromatic Diopter

If you want to use the anamorphic adapter, that precludes using any other lens adapters.

You might be able to get a 4x4 glass achromat, but I'm not sure.

If you want to use lens adapters and close-ups and stuff like that, TC's probably got the best suggestion: use Squeeze for that.

I don't have squeeze mode, but are you saying, if I did, I would still be able to use lens adapters and not get a distorted result? I am just wondering what I will do with my lens adapters in my future beyond 4:3.

if that is the case, 16:9 seems boring!
