Achieving a Top Gear look.

Hey folks, I know this may be broad question but I wanted to get some tips on achieving the Top Gear look. If some of you are unfamiliar with Top Gear I could get some screenshots of the show for you to see.

I will be shooting outside with an HVX-200 and will editing with FCP and Magic Bullet. The vignette can easily be done in Magic Bullet. I'm more interested the color correction/camera settings that may get me closer to the look.

Any ideas and help would be greatly welcomed.

A lot of people look at me cross eyed when I tell them Top Gear is one of my favourite shows. But it's not only funny it's gorgeous looking. I'm always floored by how pretty they make everything look.

There's definitely a lot of hardcore vignetting going on. I always get the impression that they stack circular filters or something.

Word up-- excellent looking show.

Fifth Gear was on a rampage last series to catch up with them on the cool-looking factor; they were doing a lot of stuff with high-speed cameras that looked awesome. But this most recent series pretty much blew.

Anyway, the look:
Wideangle lenses, intentional vignetting, tons of grad filters, and let's not forget the delicious color quality that comes with pro-level cameras and careful CC'ing.
