I have no experience editing and I am going to buy the premiere pro 1.5, what accesories do I need for my dvx100a? What kind of plug-ins or whatever?

Assuming your computer has a firewire port, you should be good to go. Premiere Pro1.5 is all you need to edit your stuff.

Plug-ins are extra pieces of software that has been written for other larger pieces of software that give it more functioning power and features. For example, the Magic Bullet that you may have gotten with your camera will add plug-ins to your already existing Premiere Pro package that will let you do things that PPro1.5 can't. MB has MANY cool effects. There is also SteadyMove Pro which I have just discovered. Awesome. It takes shaky handheld footage and smooths it out so it looks less jittery. These are just a few.

So, I suggest getting Premiere Pro, capturing footage with your firewire card and start playing around. The plug-ins will come later. And they are a lot of fun.

Some of the best "accessories" that you should initially consider would fall into the category of training; either books or training programs are a great way to get up to speed much quicker. After you develop some skills you will have a better idea what would be useful to your work flow and editing style.
