Im new to most of this stuff so bear with me. I just got vegas+DVD and i have not instaled it yet. The idea of being able to produce surround sound is very cool, but what is the Dolby Digital AC-3 Encoder. Is it somthing that was suposed to be in the box or is it just an elament already in the vegas or dvd architect CD. I went over the manuals a bit but didn't see anything. Can somone explain what this thing is and how it works.
Thanks

Thanks for the info. This is the best forum I have ever seen. I just got my dvx a few weeks ago and this forum helped me in the learning process. DVXuser.com kicks ass!!
