Hello all!!
In my quest to buy a DVX100A - the google search brought me here - thank God - finally some sane people who downs seem to be out there to separate me from my hard earned bucks. I am trudging though trying to buy a brand new DVX100A - eventually that will happen. But I have a question - will any of the recording formats 24, 30i or 60i properly import into a non-linear editing system and remain in that format? Specifically, I would like to use Vegas 5.0 to do the editing since I have yet to get ANY version of ADOBE Premiere to work on the NEW laptop (17"wide/3ghz/512mb/80gbHD) i purchased specifically to get started. Or - does only Apple support that format?
I will appreciate any good responses - and look forward to having something worthwhile to contribute here in the future.

Barry - thank you for your reply. I was semi-sure that my selection would work, but it really helps to get the nod from others with more experience. Back to the search for hardware.
