Really considering buying the 30in apple CD. Anyone know where I can find refurbished ones that are legitimate. I checked Apples website and they don't have any up yet.
 
Sorry to not help (as did the previous poster) to your original question but...

the Samsung 305T rocks the Apple cinema display. New it's around $1,100 or so and it looks amazing. I have 2 of them and they're rock solid.

Check the reviews of this vs Apple and see what even the mac kids are saying.
 
I'd say your best bet would be to check Craigslist locally. I always see 30" ACD monitors for sale here in Austin.

But if you want my real advice, check out Dell's monitors. I've got two 24"ers on my edit desk and wouldn't go with any other brand after owning these. They're amazing.

I was thinking about a 30" until I picked up a new 24" imac for home. For me it's a strain on the eyes at a normal viewing distance. I'm going to stick with my 23" CD for editing now.
 
I researched 30" monitors to no end... and I think the HP LP3065 beats them all last i researched (not sure about the Gateway mentioned though) and i know where to get it around $900 refurbished.

+1 to that, I have 2 Dell 2407s on one of my systems and it is a GREAT setup!
