I'm a newbie to the world of video (been producing and engineering audio for about 8 years) and I am on the verge of purchasing my first DSLR and getting into editing as well. I've used FCP a couple of times on some quick projects but nothing in depth. Currently I have a 2.16 GHz Intel iMac running Leopard with 3 GB of RAM (maxed out)... given ample hard drive space, will my machine be able to handle FCP? I'll mostly be using it to edit music videos and eventually some documentaries. Any suggestions/tips are welcomed.
