I have a few questions regarding the polarize filter everyone is using for the DVX.
1. There're two kinds of PL filters, linear and circular. Which one should I choose for the DVX?
2. I do still landscape photography a lot. I use a round circular Hoya filters for my still camera. I point my camera at 90 degrees of light direction and turn the filter to achieve the max effects. So is the operating process same with using a PL filter on a DVX?
3. What if I pan my DVX? Then I loose the 90 degree angle = no more PL effects. You can turn the filter, but it may appear the video footage is changing the look as you pan the DVX and rotate the PL filter at the same time.
4. This may sound a silly question. What about those Polarize sunglasses? They seem to have PL effects in all directions regardless where you look at. Why they don't require you to rotate your sunglasses?
As you can see I'm pretty confused. Can anyone help?
