I'm just about to start a job where I'm going to edit footage in either Sony Vegas, Premiere, or Avid Media Composer and I was wondering if there was a way to get the project into FCP with the edits in place. I'm also on a Windows PC.
I am able to go from any of the above mentioned programs by exporting the project as an AAF file. However, I heard Final Cut Pro doesn't support AAF. Is there an equivalent format I can use? I haven't really messed around with EDL files so I was wondering if that would be a good alternative.
Has anyone ever had to do this before?
