Ahhhh the old dryer trick. I remember many a morn, waking up and fluffing my clothes for the day. It felt soooooo good.

FYI: If you "forget" to wash your favorite shirt, just place the smelly shirt inside the dryer with a fabric softner sheet, and after the fluff cycle the shirt will smell as good as new.*

It was 27 degrees today. But that's celsius!!! Which means it was hot, hot, hot!

I will pay someone to smuggle some of that nice-ice here. Just place some snow into sandwich bags and then duct tape the bags to your body. You should have no problem getting through security ;) Once on the plane ask for a seat in the under-belly of the plane. It's not pressurized down there, so it might get a little cold (wear a turtleneck), but the snow will be comfortable for the 20 hour flight. Upon arrival in Bangkok, I will pick up your frozen body at the International terminal, claiming I'm your relative. I'll shed a few tears (for show) and then take you and the snow home. Once there (and after a sandwich) I will make the token gesture of trying to bring your cold-lifeless body back to life. But the important thing is you succeeded in delivering snow to the tropics. Wow! Good for you!! No more hot tea for me. Next time it's iced!

We just got the most snow in 30 years here in the High Desert (southern California). If I was smarter than I am I would post a picture.

I work the ramp at Denver Int'l Airport.  When I was driving home the other night I noticed that the thermometer said it was 1 degree outside.  But it was okay, 'cause when I stopped at a light it popped up to 2.  Warmed me right up.

Because that's twice as hot.
