Hi all,
I just wanted to share some experiences here as I've been here from the beginning of my first documentary film project. Starting with the DVX100b, adding in HV20s and moving to HDV, and then to the Panasonic GH1, this community has been a pillar for me in terms of the wisdom shared by the many users around the world. Thanks to such a great community that has been a vital part of my own journey to make a film. I'm no expert, but I've learned a tremendous amount here - so thanks to you all!
Things are starting to shape up for my 6+ year project, INSPIRED: The Movie -- if you have a chance check out the latest events on my Kickstarter page! http://bit.ly/JzNWAi
You'll find it interesting that a short video I edited a few weeks ago went viral and received millions of views in just a couple weeks -- it was highlighted in the Huffington Post, Aol.com, MSN.com, Time.com and many others. It was pretty amazing to see how powerful a viral video can be in terms of generating buzz - not that it's something reproducible... Twitter, Facebook, YouTube -- they have been game changers for us.
Thanks!
Steve
