a question on grain. Plug in?

I saw some footage a while back of a 35mm adapter and I remember the dude saying he used an effect in Vegas to deal with some of the grain on the CC. Is there a FCP equivilant that might help out with the grain seen in a static GG?

Most of them add grain, and if they remove noise/grian, most of them are for AE or other programs. .

He has a free Noise Reduction filter - never tried it though.
