A question of dvx batteries

I'm going to be buying the dvx100a in the next couple of days and i was looking for extra batteries. I work at best buy, which doesn't sell the DVX100A but was wondering if my store would carry batteries that are compatible with the DVX100A, or does the DVX use totally different battiers than the other panasonic cameras. Thanks in advance.

Re: A question of dvx batteries

the best batteries and the best deal you are going to find are the batteries right on here, check the banner ads at the top for dvx batteries.

i have 5 of them and they are great and you can't beat the price.

you definitely cannot beat the price on the DVX $45 ones here. but when you order them dont expect to have them in a couple days.

just make sure you dont have any important filming coming up in like a week or less when you need multiple batteries (if ordering them solely from this site).

so if you need them down the road, i would order them now. what are you waiting for? do it!

good batteries though. havent heard a bad thing about them.

Yes.... and starting monday my wife is going to start handling shipping so they get out everyday.. so the delays come to an end :)

Re: A question of dvx batteries

You could definitely use any Best Buy battery, as long as it's made for the Panasonic cameras and it's not designed for the GS series. Even with an employee discount or whatever, you'll probably still end up paying a lot more when compared to the DVXUSER.COM batteries, but just so you know, DVX100 batteries are cross-compatible with the rest of the Panasonic lineup.
