I was thinking about buying more ram for my 2008 Mac Pro 3,1. Currently I have 2 1gb DDR2 FB-DIMM 80MHz sticks of memory.
I went to OWC and saw they had: 2 x 1.0GB Matched Set PC6400 DDR2 ECC 800MHz 240 Pin.
My question is can I have two different sets of ram-1 set of FB-DIMM and another being ECC? It appears as though all they have are ECC's...
I appreciate any info, thanks!
