A question about getting a certain shot...

ok, what i was hoping to get some advice on is a scene in which i have 2 guys talking back and forth in a truck, i had intended to cut back and forth for these shots but what i want to know is how does one go about getting a nice clean shot for such a thing, do i need some special mounting device as i really don't want to do handheld but obviously you can't put a tripod in the truck and will the dvx be able to get a wide enough shot to shoot someone who's right in front of it (obviously i can not drive and film and the same time) any help would be greatly appriciated. Sorry if this is a stupid question, i'm a newbie.

www.stickypod.com--> best camera mount for the price. i'd film the scene twice, once from each side of the character's car. also i may get a shot from the front, depending on reflections.

I agree with the advice to get a stickypod. You could also try faking it with lighting and a backprojected screen. It would give you a lot more control for your shots, but if you're not experienced with lighting, it may not be the best choice as it takes a certain wisdom to make this look convincing.
