I don't have time to go through all the replies on this thread but it seems like there may be another logo revision. That's good. The current logo is not appropriate for the content of this site. It could be resolved by simply removing the film camera graphic.

Well it's not really a film camera. I mean, yes it is, but if you pay attention to it, the body of the camera is actually a DV tape. So it's a little visual joke, I personally find it to be charming. :D

& film is in the heart ;D - yeah yeah yeah yeah - film is in the heaaaarrrt (to the tune of Groove is in the Heart)(wasnt that a kick ass song with a kick ass video . . . shot on film ;))

Kai with your platinum look I would think even a new skin would look fab . . . but I would miss the deep blue colours

You could incorporate the blue into it... have to keep the dvxblue in it somehow ;) Good idea though! New icons, new template, new smileys perhaps...

I like the current color scheme, I think it would be better to design a new logo to match, not visa versa.

This is as simple as I can get it. Plus its only one color and would be inexspensive. This would make it eaiser to do shirts, etc.
