The best thing Panasonic could do would be to come out with a real 16:9 DVX100. If you want to go to film or widescreen you need that or you have to crop, use an adapter. Why not just make the DVX with 16:9?
If they are going to come out with a DVX without the lead in it, don't call it the DVX100b. Call it the DVX100a "lite". It just seems to me if they are reworking the camera they might add a few new things to it.
Also that prototype that is on one of the other threads really sucks. It looks like it should be sold at toys r us.
