Hey guys and gals,
Many of you don't know me. I'm a long time reader/fly on the wall and just recently started throwing some of my own thoughts around on this site. I won't tell you too much more about my life, but you should know first and foremost that I love two things in life, video production and my girlfriend. I work for a company called Immersive Media (we used to do Google Street View), and now are working for another major online client. The job is awesome but it keeps me away from home and my girlfriend for much of the year. And unfortunately, my girlfriend has been battling leukemia for the past few years. Despite this she has high hopes and a great spirit and has been and will always be an inspiration for me and whatever I do in my life. If anyone here has ever been affected by cancer or known someone who has then you know the constant fight and resilience it takes to even get out of bed in the morning, let alone fight off a deadly disease and still keep a positive attitude. I'm not asking for much, just some help for a fellow cameraman. My girlfriend is doing a Light the Night walk later this year to help raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. There is no donation minimum, since every penny gets us closer to a cure and providing many with a lifestyle that most of us take for granted. But if you can, please donate, even if it is only a few cents. Thank each and every one of you for your time and support - and such a great web community -
