A little disappointed by my experience with Moondog Labs...

I want to love their little anamorphic, but I received a copy with some kind of element separation or internal crack :/ Managed to get them on the phone the same day my poor little lens was delivered and they told me they'd make it right as soon as they're new stock comes in. A few weeks go by and I decide to check in, they're not answering my emails or phone calls (made 2 attempts of each over the past two weeks!). I'm wondering if anyone has had a similar experience with them? I'd really hate to have to open a case with paypal but at this point its seems our line of communication has dissolved.

Anybody actually have a pleasant experience, or any experience at all, with them before? http://www.moondoglabs.com/
 
I finally spoke with Julie one of the founders via email. They shipped out a new unit along with self addressed postage for me to return the dud. She wants to see exactly what went wrong so they can keep a closer eye on their incoming stock. She seemed pleasant and I'd imagine they might have lost track of me because of new product they released the same week I initially called them. If you want I'll report back on the condition of the replacement lens I'll be receiving.
