A light fell on my head today

White hot smith viktor ka-plunks on my head today while lining up a shot. Seriously. Wasn't to the side, wasn't a little off center, it was like the light had aspirations of being a hat and decided that then was the time to make the switch. Worst part was that the talent didn't notice until my hair was gone. and even then they just kinda laughed. O well, I was going to shave my head anyway. Anyone else have a light fall on their head during a shot?

When I first read your Thread title, "A light fell on my head"...I thought you meant that metaphorically...like you were going to share some Ghandi-like wisdom with all of us...

Damn. Sorry, man. Have a few drinks and call me in the morning.

Alcyhol has gained popularity around here in the last week. Or atleast it seems like it.

Everyone needs to switch to fluorescent lighting (for household lights). It isnt hot, saves ton on money, and makes nice pure white light, not that god-awful yellowish incandescent color.

The last week? Have you read any of my posts for the last 2 years?:)

Guess I just didnt pay them too much mind. But I believe you for some strange reason.

hahaha, dude thats harsh. Ive had a sandbag fall on me and 2 lights fall near me. I also hit a person with a camera once but they deserved it.

Pics of your head???

Lights are dangerous ! And a PITA LOL.

Had a cameramas's shirt catch on fire, and a carboard door I made completely engulfed in flames from lights - same shoot too btw.

sry, no pics of my destroyed hair. Though the bulb didn't break (just burnt out, $20, ouch) it set my italian-esque hair up faster than I would've expected. I just got back from my (barber) cousin's house and now look like derek from AHX.
