a light effect please.

Any one know of a light beam effect VERY similar to The Foundry's T-beam on Tinderbox 1? (http://www.thefoundry.co.uk/pkg_plugins.aspx?ui=7EB882D6-AFE1-4CCA-B28D-B20DB7A46E7A)

Maybe something that doesn't cost $500 but still has the same features of the T-beam.

Thanks.

Trapcode's Lux does the same thing and it's much cheaper ($169) and probably more versatile.

Thanks for the speedy reply. Funny, I just saw Trapcode's Shine and was going to edit my post to see if it did beams of light also. But Lux looks like it should do the job. Thanks infiniteloop.

I would just try making that beam of light using a solid of the desired color, maybe add some edge feathering and glow and decrease the transparency.
