Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

Majora was insane. It took the combined efforts of me and a buddy (and a VERY long night) to beat it. THOSE STUPID COFFE GROUNDS!!! That game didn't have a good enough story line to constitute the level of play it required.

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

Hey, I've got a question for all the Zelda fans out there. The only Zelda game I haven't played is Four Swords. Does anyone have it? Is it good? I'm confused as to whether or not you can play with just one person. Link to the past is my favorite Zelda game, but I would hate to buy this and be disappointed.

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

first of all the legend of Zelda 1 was the only game worth playing. everything after that just lost it.
it should have never been turned into upright 2D , that just killed it for me. i dont know about the latest one, but i know it won't do it for me because it won't be like the original Zelda, with the little fella runnin' around makin little hurtin' noises when attacked, pickin' up the blue ring and turning blue then picking up the red ring and being red- AWSOME! and that teeny tiny twinkle save tune and the unforgettable music all over the game- just can't beat it.
please, no movie. that is the dumbest thing i have ever heard. games to movies.. bad bad bad.
tomb raider... ugh, what a disappointment. tomb raider was SO MUCH MORE than just Angelina on a
rampage! MAKES ME ANGRY!!!!
don't even bring it up. Leave Zelda where it is.
I want my old school nintendo back!!!! I want the gold colored Zelda cartridge- with the memory chip in it!

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

oh yeah! the gold cartridge...man, its all starting to come back...you know what though, i kinda liked the upright version.

)[/quote]

TC...That was the first thing I said, someone mentioned Zelda on the same day I beat 4 swords! I thought that was weird...

Anyways, it's real close to the SNES game A Link to the Past, it's fun and there's lots of puzzles.

Pretty much, if you like the "push this, see where something changes, use the weapons they give you, wait not that one go all the way back, change weapons, blow up wall, push switch twice" things about Zelda games...Imagine controlling 3 other people who help you along the way. (buttons need the weight of 4 people, hordes of bad guys who come at all angles so you have to put your 4 guys in a diamond to fight on all sides)

The best is when you over think a puzzle...but really...I'm addicted...I had to play it...Zelda games...and Metroid games!!!

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

I remember the cartridge and also remember always blowing the butt end of the cartridge to the dam thing to work. I would sometimes put it underneath my shirt then blow on it. I had friends put it in the refrigerator for 30mins and then pop it it. It actually worked. Those good ol krazy days.

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

Reset Power...to avoid losing the save...those were the days...

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

i think everyone did the blowing thing...i used to put my finger into the nes and push it up and down really fast...hitting it always worked too...i always felt like i had the magic touch cause i would have friends with dead nintendos and i could always bring them back to life...

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

man, thats just too funny. Someone should do a little skit on the classic nintendo problems.

That always cracks me up. When you think up this really elaborate plan using 3 different items. And then it doesn't work, and you realize there's a switch hidden under on of the pots.

Good times.

Push reset. Turn it off. Take it out. Blow in it. Put it back in. Turn it on. Puch reset. Worked every time. :)

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

Remember in ocarina, you take the stick and put it to the fire and it lit up...burning a weapon...I was shocked!! and then you use it to burn the spiderweb...great game design!

So TC are you going for 4 Swords??

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

Ya know Phil, I think you've convinced me to. Though I'll probably ask for it for christmas.

Yea, the Deku tree was a very new kind of dungeon for Link, and it was the very first one. It started the game off nicely. Ocrina was such a great game, I want to get the disc that has it and Majora's Mask on it. I bought my gamecube like a month before they did that promotion. I was so pissed.

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

I bought it for a dollar! :)

There's also a "Master Quest". Changed a few things, I haven't played it, but I think I might tonight!

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..

Oh geeze Zack. I thought I was going to have to write a huge reply about how so very wrong you were. :P

Re: A Legend of Zelda Movie..
