a good on camera LCD monitor for use with a 35mm adapter?

sorry to highjack this post.
whats the best way to mount a on-camera LCD monitor, if I want it mounted on the LEFT side of the camera.. rather than the BACK or the TOP...

For shoot n run shots, and also for tripod shots.

you can get little "arms" that connect to you base plate and have an accessory shoe on the end. they're like 10 bucks. supposedly they're for people to mount mics to camcorders without accessory shoes.

but can you mount the LCD's upsidedown? specificaly the LCD i mentioned before?
how do you mount them upsidedown?

>320 horizontal x 240 vertical. is that enough for focusing the shots with?

Useless. The on-board monitor is better.

connect them with the Cigarette Jack - will this work? and will it be good?

i don't know much about batteries but i think...
the battery is 12V/36WH
and the screen has an Operating voltage of 12V and 8W

does this mean i'll get aprox 4.5 hours of use on one charge?

the Panasonic TC-7WMS1 7" is the same resolution as the first LCD mentioned... 320 horizontal x 240 vertical

Yes I think you would be quite happy with that setup, but you maybe want to have the vga-output too if you are going to update to HD sometime soon.

Anyone tried the Xenarc with DVX?
