A good DVX Backpack?

I bought this same bag back in January for a trip to Boston for filming around the city. It was incredibly sturdy, a little bulky (but that's expected), and had tons of room for all kinds of accessories. The rain cover was a great bonus as I was looking to get the same one anyway. So getting if for free (more or less) was nice.

I'm not a huge fan of the color of the backpack, but that's the last thing to worry about I suppose.

Even fully loaded it doesn't feel to uncomfortable. Heavy, of course, but the straps and supports seem to do a good job of reducing strain. I was walking around the city in the cold for 12 or so hours and it's wasn't as much of a problem as I was expecting.

I'm sure there are other great bags out there, but I'm pretty happy with the decision to buy the Petrol, and have since made it my primary carrying bag.

Hope that helps.

I cannot recommend the following highly enough.

What I like about it is lots of little compartments on the outside so you can have a battery pouch, lens pouch, cleaner pouch, and wear it while you are shooting if you are run and gunning and just grab stuff when you need it.

You can also slide a laptop (in a soft case) in the front pouch with the straps there. Useful for air travel so all your breakable stuff is in your carry on, leaving you with the ability to have another carryon if you need it.

Also it has velcro padded walls inside that you can configure to pack whatever other gear will reasonably fit inside.
