A GAME* Name that movie (based on the Tagline)

Wow, I feel like a dork. Taglines are my thing, i guess.

1. Caddyshack
2. Ghostbusters
3. Blazing Saddles

Someone else can take it from here.

I remember hearing that somewhere. Isn't the next part "To have a dream!"?

Is it Scary Movie 3?

that's it!!!

There is a theme:

1. "You don't assign him to murder cases. You just turn him loose."

2. "They'd never forget the day he drifted into town."

3. “Corrupts Absolutely.”

It's early 80s slasher time:

1. Pray for day!

2. Nothing can prepare you for what happens when she fights back.

3. There's more than one way to lose your heart...

Okay, here's three but I can't reveal the theme or it will be too easy. Don't let #3 through you off the theme.

1. "Lie. Cheat. Steal. All In A Day's Work."

2. “When a film crew came to Waterford, Vermont - They Shot First And Asked Questions Later.”

3. “Loyalty is bought, betrayal is a way of life...”

#1 - Glengarry Glenn Ross

#2 - State and Main

#3 ?

They're all Mamet....no idea #3 All of Mamet's films have to do with betryal...

Those are correct. If I don't get an answer for #3 in an hour or so I'll toss out a clue.

You got me.... Did he direct it?

No, just co-wrote it. It was directed by John Frankenheimer.
The theme was "written by Mamet" and I felt the need to throw something a little more difficult than Glengarry and State and Main in there. :)
