Here are a few grabs from my DVX 100 B ( GASP... yep some of us still shoot SD)These are from a recent project. Jpegs are compressed but the Letus really does a great job. This thing is light years beyond the FE that I owned.

Nice shots man. Love that bokeh...silky smooth.

BTW, I have an HVX but still have much love for my little DVX. I am doing another SD shoot in Phildelphia at the end of the week so I get to take my DVX to do it. Fun!

Thanks for posting some DVX stills! Im still sticking with my 100a and thinking about a Letus soon.

Bump....

I recently got a few PMs from people wanting to see DVX grabs with Lex and Canon FD

The lenses used in the grabs were.

50mm F1.8
28mm F2.8
135mm F2.8

All primes

I think the softness is coming from the low res JPEGS. It looks pretty sharp in the Avid.

But thanks for looking out J.R. I will also double check.

Nah I can see its out of focus. The images are 161kb or so. Thats compressed properly so its not the JPEG compression.

Glad to see he is using a MBPro. :) Could I bother you to shoot me some stills of the built in book case? I know it if off topic, but building something similar for my home office/studio is one of my spring tasks (to appease the wife so I can buy more gear!)

Ho...

Just makes me wish that I had my LE. They take forever to get. But well worth the wait. I've been wanting to see someone shoot with canon lenses and a DVX though. I hope mine comes this week. Its worse than waiting for X mas.
