A few questions about Lomo Anamorphic Lenses/Adapters

Can anyone quickly summarize what are the main differences between a "square front" lomo and a "round" lomo lenses/adapters? May pictures showcasing how the visuals look and what it each one affects?

second, I see 35mm, 75mm, 50mm, so on and so forth - different lengths, these would be the actual LENSES I assume and not adapters. Am I correct?

third, would a Lomo lens fit with a Canon T2i, if so, what do I need to screw it on ? I take I need some sort of a ring... anyone have any clue?

how does a Lomo stack up against Iscorama - and finally, how much do Lomo's go for ?

Any of these questions answered would be a great help. Thanks!

The square front are older lenses (less expensive), round front are newer, quite expensive. The difference is not only the shape of the front - the focusing mechanism of the round front Lomos is much better and they have less distortion.

Yes. Just be aware that the actual (horizontal) angle of view of the anamorphic lens is much wider than ordinary spherical one.

You need to get rid of the mirror, which is irreversible operation and then attach the PL mount to your camera. Also, the Lomos need to be converted to PL mount (their original lens mount is OCT-19)

how does a Lomo stack up against Iscorama

Different story. Lomos squeeze factor is 2x, while Isco is 1.5x. They yield different image aspect ratio (when not cropped). With Lomos you will be able to pull focus - very difficult, if not impossible with Iscorama

and finally, how much do Lomo's go for ?

Square front ~$1000-$1500 for a lens
Round front ~$5000-$10000 for a lens
