Member Grinner Hester and his HPX250 were nearly run over by a 170 mph crashing dragster (which happened to be driven by a cute 21 year-old).

Not surprisingly, some F*ing Foul Language, but he got the shot, and lived to curse about it...

Sheesh -- glad he's okay, and the driver walked away without a scratch. And the HPX250 kept recording!

That's insane... towards the end when they asked him what was going through his mind he was like "Man, this will be a great shot..." !
 
No, he hasn't been around here for a while, has he? I knew him from the Avid forum, too.

"Whoa, that's gonna be a good shot..."- spoken like a true shooter!

Since 3 mods have chimed in, hope you guys will be OK with me posting this to the HPX250 section, thanks.

Is he a news hound, they do stuff like that, thinking of viewers and ratings.

Good to have proper insurance shooting around drag strips and airfields .. daddy will be pleased about the car.

That camera can take a beating. Glad he got clear first and foremost.

A common saying for the past few years - pics or it didnt happen. Response "which angle would you like to see".
 
Almost got my HVX200 and myself smashed by an out-of-control mud truck once... nothing quite that close though!

No, he's not a newshound, he primarily makes car videos- racing and modifications.

Her daddy is a champion drag racer...

Wow, I love the line boy that looks like it close. Then over the wall next frame. Glad your ok could have been really bad :undecided. Great Shot by the way!!
